"Ryan and I had the pleasure of having our wedding on September 2 at the Glencoe Golf and Country Club. We just wanted to let you know how very thankful we are of the beautiful setting, the very helpful Glencoe staff, and the delicious food! So many of our guests told us how much they enjoyed the various hors d'oeuvres, 4-course dinner (especially how tender the Alberta AAA beef was and how delicious the salmon was), and the beautiful site. We have heard multiple times that the food was one of the best of any weddings they have attended.

As the couple getting married, we would also like to add that Daniel was with us every step of our wedding planning, and to answer all our questions and emails in a timely manner. He was extremely accommodating and attentive to details and really put our minds at ease. We truly could not have planned such a wonderful, organized day without him. He went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect.

Thank you for allowing us to celebrate such a special day with our guests. The Glencoe staff made it possible to have the wedding day of our dreams. It could not have been more beautiful and we cannot thank your wonderful team enough."

"Kent and I want to formally thank you and your staff at the Glencoe for so seamlessly arranging our son's wedding rehearsal dinner on August 30, 2023. Although we've attended a variety of events at Glencoe, this is the first gathering we've hosted ourselves at our Club, and it came off exactly as we'd hoped.

Communication is always critical to event success and making the arrangements ahead of time was easy. Responses were prompt and the outcome was exactly as we'd hoped. That doesn't happen unless there's attention paid to details on your end, and it doesn't happen unless your staff has been informed and then actually perform as requested. Those helping us that evening were gracious and polite and patient. They attended to the smallest requests from our guests, and I was touched when you yourself checked in at the end of the evening to ensure we were happy, that everything had gone as planned, and that we were pleased.

We love our Club. Many of our guests had never been to Glencoe before and were impressed with the beauty of the Spruce View Room and the setup for drinks and dinner. The arrangement was both functional and accommodating, and ensured everyone felt welcomed and not crowded. As hosts, we'd also like to acknowledge the small touches the Club provided - the flowers along the buffet table, and the white roses scattered throughout that signaled this is a "wedding" event. The placement and setting of the birthday cake on the table under the windows was visually lovely, and the bride's mother was touched to tears. Your last-minute queries and flexibility regarding the bar remaining open throughout the evening if we so desired, your anticipation that some guests might request beverages other than the wine provided on the tables, and your staff checking in with us regarding the timing of the clearing of the buffet table were all appreciated. The latter was especially notable because a number of our young guests went back for seconds and even thirds long after we thought they'd have full tummies. Everyone stayed later than expected, and were in no hurry to leave. That in itself signals success and we couldn't have asked for more.

Please extend our thanks to the kitchen as well for the lovely presentation and the quality of the food at the buffet and on the dessert table. Not only did everything look appealing but it was delicious as well. Last night, we were back at the Club post-golf and one of our guests looked hard on the bar menu for "that chicken" she'd had at the rehearsal dinner because she enjoyed it so much, and was hoping to have it again. Kudos to the chef. That's exactly what we all want to hear.

Daniel, this may not have come off as such a success if you hadn't been in the driver's seat. The Club is lucky to have you, and so are we as members. Thank you again for making it all so easy for us."

"I had the privilege of attending my friends' wedding hosted at the Glencoe Golf Club, on September 2.

I wanted to take the time to ask that you pass my thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the waitstaff and kitchen who were on duty that evening. I am currently unable to eat dairy or soy for nursing reasons – the food restriction is still a relatively recent discovery for me. The warmth and reassurance from all the staff that I interacted with whenever I was presented food was much appreciated.

I am, however, also allergic to fresh pineapple (of all things!) and this was something that had not been communicated in the RSVP. When the dessert came out that evening, I was unable to partake, but no matter as the dinner had been excellent and I would have left satisfied. Regardless, the kind lady bringing desserts to our table was determined that a substitute be provided, and she quickly came back with a bowl of pina colada sorbet, made in house! (I can have pineapple if it passes through any heat or is of the canned variety, just not fresh).

Her determination, the kitchen's resourcefulness, and my overall experience that evening with all of the staff have really blown me away. Everyone i interacted with was cheerful, warm, and accommodating in a friendly manner. Please pass my thanks along to your excellent team! Your people truly make your company excel."

You were extremely helpful throughout the summer in planning and followed through on everything. We really appreciated all of the help and engagement to plan this and also the creativity in how things could be executed in the circumstances that we are under with the COVID restrictions…

The food menu, quality and presentation was top notch and we have received nothing but positive feedback from the attendee's at the wedding. Drinks were great and the staff did an excellent job of keeping any line to a minimum…

Overall, we were very impressed with how the Glencoe helped plan and execute this event and would highly recommend the Glencoe to friends for weddings. What the team was able to pull off under the circumstances speaks to how good they are!"
