The Glencoe Club is your home away from home. We create memories for all ages in their athletic, recreation, education and social pursuits. Your second home is filled with wellness, athletics, food, events and community. With a variety of dining experiences, wellness and physiotherapy services, fitness, aquatics, climbing, indoor golf, curling, bowling, skating, tennis, squash, and badminton – we have something for everyone in your family. We complement our excellent facilities with outstanding programs, services and events and by providing exceptional experiences to our members, guests, employees and the community.
Conveniently located between the beautiful Calgary neighbourhoods of Mount Royal and Elbow Park, you are just minutes away from your second home!
Membership Opportunities Temporarily Closed
The Glencoe Club is fortunate to have an exceptional community, which has resulted in high demand for membership and extended waiting lists.
At this time, our membership waitlists are full, and we are not accepting applications or adding names to our Prospective Member Database. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a timeline for future openings.
Please visit this page periodically for the most up-to-date information.
Applicants on the Prospective Database will have the opportunity to apply for Social Membership when opportunities becomes available. A Prospect does not have any membership privileges.
Social Members have full use of Food & Beverage facilities and Club Services (Pro Shop, Physiotherapy, Wellness Centre and Golf Centre) and are placed on the waitlist to move to House and Active Membership. Social Membership is for adults only.
House Members have full use of Food & Beverage Facilities and Club Services (Pro Shop, Physiotherapy, Wellness Centre and Golf Centre) and unlimited use of Bowling, Curling and Skating. House Members may also use the other sports facilities one day per month by registering at the Sports Office.
Children can be added onto the membership and may be registered in all programs 48 hours after Active Member registration commences. Children may have limitations on drop-in pool and court usage based on their age and supervision requirements.
Active Members have full use of all Club facilities - dining, wellness, sports and recreation.
The Glencoe Golf & Country Club
It doesn't stop there. Our Club offers more than golf to our members. We provide a family-oriented atmosphere, excellent dining opportunities, exciting social events, international club affiliations, and an abundance of winter activities. Situated on the outskirts of Calgary along scenic Highway 8, and easily accessible from the newly established ring road, you are just minutes away from your second home!
I think The Glencoe Club has stayed at the top for three reasons. First, management has been exceptional. Second, through my whole time of being [a member], the staff has been unbelievably wonderful and courteous. They're just great, great people. Third, the Glencoe has always moved forward and has always made improvements. That's why it's such a dream. The Club has always kept ahead of the curve and never let that go.

It has a bowling alley, squash courts, indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, ice rink, fine dining, pub dining, tennis courts... the food was exceptional too. If you're a member of this club I can see why! Very glad that the Union Club of British Columbia is a reciprocal member here. Had a fantastic time entertaining Calgary locals here.
